OUTFIT: Mint Doors

Ich muss mir ein Haus mit Hoftor kaufen. Nur, damit ich es dann mintgrün anpinseln und den ganzen Tag anstarren kann. Das ist nämlich so ziemlich das Schönste, was man seinem Haus antun kann. Ich hatte euch ja im letzten Outfitpost schon vorgewarnt: heute finde ich meinen Hintergrund mindestens genauso gut, wie den Vordergrund. Soll vorkommen, dass man in der Locationsuche aufgeht.

Aber gut, vom mintgrünen Hoftor müsst ihr euch selbst überzeugen – das mit dem Cape kann ich übernehmen. Das werdet ihr nämlich überhaupt nicht glauben können, woher ich das habe (und Achtung, jetzt muss ich ein bisschen schwärmen und ich schwöre, ich wurde für die Lobeshymne hier nicht angeheuert). Ich habe nämlich kürzlich ein Überraschungspaket von Lidl bekommen und habe das ehrlich gesagt gar nicht gleich aufgemacht. Eigentlich müsste ich das inzwischen gelernt haben, dass die Päckchen, die ich im ersten Moment links liegen lasse, meistens die besten Inhalte vorweisen.

In diesem Fall ein Cape, dessen Farben ich nicht nur liebe, sondern das auch noch ganz wunderbar warm hält und dabei nicht allzu dick ist. Ich habe das Teil innerhalb von zwei Sekunden ins Herz geschlossen und sogar mein Freund findet diesmal, dass es nicht aussieht wie ein Teppich. Zumindest kein ganz so großer. Ich meine sogar die Worte Das sieht echt gut aus! vernommen zu haben, aber vielleicht war das nur Wunschdenken.

Insgesamt ist das momentan mein Wohlfühloutfit. Meine Lieblingsjeans, mein Lieblingscape und dann meine neuen, endlich eingelaufenen Lieblings-Lederboots (sind gerade im Sale – zuschlagen!). Dazu das Tor, das ich mir am liebsten als Accessoire auf den Rücken schnallen würde und los geht’s. Gefällt es euch genauso wie mir – und mal ehrlich, hättet ihr das Cape als Lidl-Teil vermutet?

I need to buy a house with a gate. For the sole purpose of painting the gate mint green and stare at it madly in love all day. It might just be the prettiest thing you can do to a house. In my last outfit post, I already warned you: in today’s pictures, the background might just be as interesting as the foreground. But well, the mint green gate has to do the job of convincing you itself – I’m going to do that with the cape. 


You would not believe where I got it from. A couple of weeks back, I received a surprise package by Lidl (a discounter in Germany which is known for cheap prices) and have to admit that I did not open it right away. I should have learned by now that the packages that take me the longest to find the motivation to open are usually the ones that have the best content. And so it was. When I finally got to  opening it, I held a cape in my hand which was just simply perfect. The colors, the cut, the thickness. All of it. Together with my new favorite boots (now on sale!) and the always perfect black skinnies, this might just be my favorite look right now. Do you like it as much as I do?
